After he played college football for Fresno State and twice received first-team All-MWC honors, the Raiders selected Carr in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Raiders made the playoffs in 2016 primarily due to three-time Pro Bowler Derek Carr, the team’s first appearance in the playoffs since 2002.

In 2021, Las Vegas was guided by him to another playoff appearance.

Carr received the Prestigious Player of the Year award from the National Private Schools Athletic Association in 2009 following the conclusion of his high school football career.

Carr’s injury severely damaged the Raiders organization, but the fans suffered a tremendous emotional loss.

Derek is known for being a great man, an inspiring team player off the field, and a talented football player.

If they were to do the surgery immediately, it might suggest that Derek had a strong chance of making a comeback. Even so, it’s clear that didn’t happen, perhaps due to the area’s swelling making surgery difficult.

Even though Carr’s operation had succeeded, curiosity about his leg persists. The nice thing is there was no ligament damage.

The Raiders’ last two games ended in defeats, including a 27-14 loss to the Houston Texans in the AFC Wild Card Round, leaving them to reflect in the summer on what might have been if Carr had stayed fit.

The Raiders are hopeful going into the 2017 season with Carr’s return.

Marcus Mariota took over for Carr, and while doing so, he led the Raiders on four touchdown-scoring drives and scored two touchdowns.

After finishing most of his recovery, Carr concentrates on the upcoming season.

He and his colleagues have already admitted that would be altered by owner Mark Davis’ choice to move the team to Las Vegas.
