Mirabai’s parents are proud to have a daughter like her. Her Father, Saikhom Kriti Meitei, is a team member at the Public Works Department. Her mother, Saikohm Ongbi Tombi Leima, is a shopkeeper.

After watching their daughter win India’s first medal at the Olympics in Tokyo, both of her parents could not hold back their tears. Her parents are pleased with their daughter’s accomplishments.
