Connecticut Huskies Qb Zion Turner has been searched, as this young player has been making impressive gameplay. 

Zion Turner, one of the most decorated quarterbacks in South Florida high school football history, said on Wednesday that he intends to play for Jim Mora and the Huskies at UConn.

Turner, who 247Sports ranks as the No. 37 passer in the country for the class of 2022, won three consecutive state championships at St. Thomas Aquinas.

He amassed a 37-2 record while serving as the starter for the Fort Lauderdale powerhouse, which competes nationally and has had a few games televised by ESPN.

Turner completed 62.5 percent of his throws throughout those three seasons for 4,951 yards and 59 touchdowns against only 18 interceptions. In addition, he rushed for 990 yards and 31 additional scores.

This past weekend, Turner and his parents were hosted by UConn, who extended an offer to Turner shortly after Mora was announced as the program’s new head coach. Turner decided to play for Mora and offensive coordinator Nick Charlton.

Turner remarked, “It was a wonderful visit. “The fact that Coach Mora was simply discussing his experience really caught my attention. He is a genuinely good coach, and I am looking forward to making history at UConn with him.”

Turner appreciates how Mora called plays on Sundays and assisted in developing UCLA’s Brent Hundley into an NFL Draft selection.

Zion Turner is yet to be featured on the official Wikipedia page. Looking at this young athlete, he will be one of the greatest QB of all time.

Turner completed with 2,103 throwing yards, 25 passing touchdowns, 130 completions on 191 attempts, and just five interceptions in his senior season.

He led St. Thomas Aquinas to an overall record of 14-1 in his final year. As a three-year varsity starter, Turner helped St. Thomas Aquinas win a national title and three straight state championships while compiling an overall record of 37-2. 

He accumulated 4,951 throwing yards, 59 passing touchdowns, 126.9 passing yards per game, 369 completions on 590 attempts, and 18 interceptions by the time he graduated from high school.

Wilbert And Tavodda Turner are the parents of the young talented player Zion Turner. Zion has been getting a lot of support from his family members as he can be the future star of the NFL. 

Other than Zion Turner’s parents’ names, there isn’t much information about them. 

Turner, a freshman, starting quarterback for UConn and returning to Miami on Saturday night to play Florida International, had torn cartilage.

He eventually went to a surgeon, who gave him some optimism that he might be able to play within a few weeks if the injury could be fixed with a less invasive treatment.

He requested that his father, Tyrone, drive him directly to St. Thomas Aquinas High in Fort Lauderdale. Which was roughly 25 miles from the family’s home in the Overtown neighborhood of Miami after the treatment went smoothly.

Tyrone Turner recalled, “His teammates were more frightened, worried than him.” 

Zion Turner lost his uncle, Bernard, who had been a significant part of his support system during his final year. Jasmin, Zion’s older sister, became unwell at a family birthday celebration in mid-November, and the following day, she passed away at 27.
